OA/CTS Operations

The second of DESI's three divisions is the Outreach, Admissions, and Career Transition Services division. Through scores of admissions counselors and transitions specialists, DESI helps thousands of youth receive the job training and opportunities they need to succeed.

Outreach and Admissions

The Outreach and Admissions programs seek out and enroll disadvantaged youth, ages 16 to 24, in Job Corps centers. Nationally, we are the largest and most experienced provider of these services for the Department of Labor. With more than 20 years of experience, DESI has numerous contracts and annually enrolls more than 23,000 youth into more than 50 different Job Corps centers all over America.

Career Transition Services

Career Transition Services assist students leaving the Job Corps program. The goal is to assist them in finding a job, joining the military, or enrolling in additional training opportunities. Career Transition Services also provide program graduates with the support necessary to retain employment once they have been hired.
