Job Corps Centers

Job Corps is a Department of Labor program designed to provide an alternate route for education and skills training to at-promise youth (ages 16 to 24) throughout the United States. The primarily residential Job Corps centers provide a safe, structured environment where young adults can finish their education, gain job skills, and develop the life skills necessary for success. DESI has participated in the Job Corps program since 1985, and is proud to be a Department of Labor partner.

In its commitment to helping people become productive working citizens, DESI prides itself on doing whatever it takes to make success possible. DESI provides each of its Job Corps centers with the resources and oversight necessary to fulfill the Job Corps mission. From financial management to operations training and human resources advice, DESI corporate headquarters gives the centers everything they need to succeed.
